Our Solutions

Automated Liquidity: Accounts Receivable Management as an Integrated Service

In a modern financial stack, managing open items should not be a manual bottleneck. We view collections not as an isolated service, but as a data-driven business solution that integrates seamlessly into your existing system architecture.

Instead of exporting Excel lists or manually tracking reminders, we connect your accounting system directly with our professional accounts receivable management.

Technical Highlights:

  • Seamless API Integration: Direct transfer of overdue receivables from your ERP, e-commerce platform, or accounting software (REST API / CSV).
  • Bi-directional Data Exchange: Status updates, payments, and case notes are synchronized in real time.
  • White-Label Option: The process can be tailored to your brand’s "look & feel," ensuring a seamless customer journey.

Reduce your Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) through intelligent automation, without relinquishing control over your customer relationships.

International Collection Partners

Global Reach, Centralized Control

To optimally enforce your claims internationally and in complex jurisdictions, we extend our in-house team with a strong, qualified partner network. This ensures you have local legal expertise wherever your customers are, without adding administrative burden to your team.

  • Automated Data Bridge: Data exchange with our international partners is fully automated. Through defined interfaces, we transfer complete digital case files—including all invoice copies and dunning histories—securely to the local partner.
  • Synchronized Status: Crucially, information flows back just as easily. We receive status updates, payments, and installment agreements from our partners directly into the abiliware system. This ensures that the claim status remains synchronized across all systems, providing you with a "Single Source of Truth" regardless of whether the case is being processed domestically or abroad.

Consulting Partners

Strategy Meets Technology

For strategic financial planning and specialized process optimization, we work closely with renowned consulting firms. We believe that the best results come from combining financial expertise with technical excellence.

  • Integrated Analysis: Together with our partners, we analyze your existing data infrastructure. We don't just look at the numbers; we look at the systems generating them.
  • From Concept to Code: While our consulting partners define the business strategy and financial roadmap (CFO Services), our Technology Unit translates these requirements into technical reality. We implement the necessary infrastructure—whether by building data warehouses, creating custom BI dashboards, or deploying forecasting models based on historical payment data.

Legal Tech Automation

How We Make Mass Litigation Scalable Through Intelligent Workflows

From Mountains of Files to Digital "Dark Processing"

In the Legal Tech and Consumer Rights sector, economic success often hinges on the margin per case. Anyone aiming to process thousands of similar claims—whether flight delays, rent reductions, or damage claims—often fails due to one administrative bottleneck: manual casework.

At Abillify, we specialize in eliminating these administrative hurdles through technology. We understand the logic of mass legal proceedings and translate it into efficient code.

Here are three anonymized scenarios from our portfolio demonstrating how we automated complex claims processes.

Automated Lawsuit Bundling

Use Case: Flight Rights

The Technical Challenge:
A high volume of claims against various airlines needed to be processed. The workflow included validation, out-of-court demands, and finally, judicial enforcement. Manually filing thousands of individual lawsuits was not economically viable.

Our Solution:
We developed a backend architecture that manages the entire lifecycle of a claim:

  • Data Matching: Automatic reconciliation of submitted receipts with databases to validate the claim.
  • Trigger-Based Communication: The system independently sends payment requests and reminders as soon as specific deadlines (timeouts) expire.
  • Intelligent Clustering: The core of the solution. If litigation becomes necessary, our algorithm doesn't generate single cases but logically bundles datasets (e.g., "Cluster: District Court Frankfurt, Airline X, Delay Reason Y").
  • Document Generation: The system prepares lawsuits for lawyers based on these clusters. Documents are generated automatically but remain in editable formats to ensure lawyers retain full control over the content.

Bridging the Digital-Analog Gap

Use Case: Rail Refunds

The Technical Challenge:
Many opposing parties in mass proceedings (e.g., authorities or legacy corporations) do not accept API interfaces but insist on analog forms. This often blocks fully digital business models.

Our Solution:
We built a hybrid automation. While the end customer submits their data digitally (via app or web), our system handles the background "translation" into the analog world:

  • Data Mapping: Digital datasets are mapped exactly to the coordinates of official PDF or paper forms.
  • Automated Dispatch: The system generates ready-to-send documents, including all necessary assignment declarations, for postal delivery.
  • Result: 100% digital user experience for the customer, 100% formal compliance for the opposing party—with zero manual filling.

Dynamic Document Creation

Use Case: Liability Claims

The Technical Challenge:
More complex legal matters, such as accident claims, require individual communication with various parties (insurance, client, lawyer) that cannot be forced into a rigid template.

Our Solution:
Implementation of logic-based document creation. Based on input variables (type of accident, amount of damage, liability ratio), the system intelligently assembles text modules. This generates individualized letters to insurance companies and lawyers that appear hand-written but are created in milliseconds.

Compliant Marketplace Settlement & Financial Fulfillment for Digital Platforms

Scalable Infrastructure for Complex Payment Flows and Digital Goods under Regulatory Requirements

The Challenge: Marketplace Functionality under Regulatory Pressure

A leading digital platform in the loyalty and financial services sector planned to expand its portfolio by offering exclusive deals and third-party digital vouchers directly through its own interface.

However, behind the seamless user experience lay significant regulatory and operational hurdles. Due to the platform's specific regulatory classification as a financial and loyalty service provider, it could not and was not permitted to act as the retailer (Merchant) for these transactions.

A technical and legal solution was required to meet three critical demands:

  1. Ensuring Regulatory Compliance (Legal Tech): An external partner needed to act as the official contracting party and Merchant of Record (MoR) to shield the platform from regulatory risks.
  2. Seamless Marketplace Experience: The complex background structure had to remain completely invisible to the end customer.
  3. Automation of Complex Payment Flows: Clearing between end customers, the platform (for commissions), and numerous external suppliers had to be fully automated.

Our Solution: The Technical Reseller Model for Marketplaces

We supported this ambitious project as a strategic partner by taking over the complete "post-order" commercial processing. In the role of a technical intermediary (Reseller / Merchant of Record), we implemented a bridge between the platform interface, the end customer, and the various suppliers.

1. Payment Collection & Receivables Management

Once a customer initiates a transaction on the platform, our systems take over the payment collection. For the customer, the process remains transparent and secure within the platform's "look and feel," while we manage financial risks and accounts receivable in the background.

2. Automated Marketplace Settlement & Payouts

The core of our technical service is the automated clearing and splitting of funds. Our systems ensure that revenue is distributed correctly and compliantly. This includes:

  • Algorithmic calculation and retention of agreed commissions and fees for the platform.
  • Timely and accurate payouts to the respective merchants and suppliers.
  • Generation of correct billing documents for all parties involved.

3. Handling of Digital Goods (Digital Fulfillment)

Speed is crucial for digital products. We manage not only the financial flows but also the logistical execution for digital goods. This involves the automated real-time delivery of assets (e.g., voucher codes or tickets) via email immediately after successful and verified payment receipt.

The Result: Scalability through Compliance and Automation

By implementing our infrastructure, the platform was able to successfully scale its new business model without burdening internal resources with complex billing issues or regulatory pitfalls.

  • Legal Compliance: The platform does not appear as the seller, adhering to regulatory standards while retaining full control over the customer experience.
  • Efficiency: The entire marketplace settlement process runs fully automatically and invisibly in the background.
  • Scalability: Our technical process landscape grows dynamically with the platform's success, regardless of whether physical or digital goods are being traded.

Service Summary

  • Marketplace Clearing: Fiduciary management and automated distribution of customer funds (Split Payments).
  • Merchant of Record Service: Acting as the official seller to ensure regulatory compliance (Legal Tech).
  • Digital Fulfillment: Automated real-time delivery of digital goods (codes, tickets).
  • Debtor Management: Invoicing and receivables management for end customers.

Accounting

No more manual transfers. We export all finance-relevant data directly into all common accounting systems and offer interfaces for custom reporting tools.

Automated account assignment and pre-accounting are core components of our engine. We generate standardized export formats (e.g., DATEV XML, CSV batches) or communicate directly via API with ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA or Microsoft Dynamics 365. In doing so, we account for complex logic such as the correct booking of VAT in the OSS procedure and client-specific cost center accounting.
